About Us

Hey Parents! I’m Pamela—a mom, meal planner, and the creator of Nourishly Meal Plan.

This all started in my own kitchen, where I wanted more than just quick meals—I wanted connection. I wanted to slow down, invite my daughter to help, and make space for memories in the everyday mess of mealtime. But I couldn’t find a cookbook that made it feel easy. Everything felt too advanced, too complicated, or just not built with families like mine in mind.

So I made one.

Little Helpers in the Kitchen is a cookbook designed for parents who want to cook with their kids, not just for them. It’s for the toddler who wants to stir, the preschooler who wants to sprinkle, and the big kid who’s ready to flip a pancake with pride.

Inside, you’ll find:

• Seasonal recipes (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

• Clear adult prep steps for every dish

• Built-in age-appropriate kitchen tasks

Short stories to read aloud while the food cooks

Grocery lists that take the guesswork out

It’s not perfect. It’s not fancy. It’s real. Just like the families it’s made for.

Whether you’re a new parent looking for slow simple ways to connect—or a seasoned cook trying to involve  your kids without so much chaos—this book is for you.

Fun Fact: I didn’t set out to write a cookbook—I set out to create more connection in my home. What started as a way to slow down and cook with my daughter turned into a collection of meals and memories I wanted to share with other parents, too.

This cookbook was made during quiet moments—between nap times, after bedtime routines, and in the beautiful chaos of raising two little ones. Every page holds a piece of real life, and a whole lot of love.

Thanks for being here. Let’s make something together!
